Our shops generate valuable income to support our services, create opportunities for homeless people to learn new skills, and contribute to Crisis' work in the community.
Hours: 40, five days over a seven-day rota
About the role
We are recruiting for two Shop Supervisors to join our busy and creative team in Brick Lane.
You will join a team of 4 paid staff plus a dedicated volunteer group from all walks of life, raising money to fund Crisis' work ending homelessness.
Our shop is based in the vibrant Brick Lane, right next to the Vintage Market.We sell an amazing range of handpicked donated high street, quality and designer brands, plus a great selection homeware, books and vinyl.
We'd love you to join our diverse and creative team, and bring your own ideas, along with your experience of fashion, retail and current trends, to this role.
As shop supervisor, you will spend much of your time managing the shop floor and supporting our volunteers to give great customer service.
You will also support the sorting and pricing of stock and will be able to use your creativity in visual merchandising and getting involved in events.
You will have opportunities to build your own skills and career progression through training and development - many of our shop managers were promoted internally.
You will be primarily based in the Brick Lane shop, but you will be required to travel to other shops, predominantly within London Zones 1 & 2, on a short term basis.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have retail experience at a supervisory level alongside a genuine interest in charity retail.
You may have experience in:
shop supervisor, store supervisor, sales assistant, team leader, sales assistant, retail assistant, shop assistant, customer service, charity shop, charity retail.
