We're hiring the Supply Chain Planning Manager to join our Divisional Operations team at Cencora, Alliance Healthcare.

Job Purpose:

To support the Head Of Planning to deliver specific key elements of the Alliance Healthcare (AH) Supply Chain Planning strategy.Role supports initiatives to develop the Supply Chain performance and Operational efficiency improvement of Alliance Healthcare's main vendors, (circa 25 in each of AH markets) through development and deployment of Operating Standards (in conjunction with Divisional and local AH Operations teams)Role is a a key enabler / contributor to Operational Productivity Improvement achievement. (key KPIs here being Service Level, OTIF, Product Availability & shortages reduction).Role supports the implementation of digitised process enhancement with AH's key vendors across all markets. (Order management, EDI order confirmation & delivery notification, Advances Shipment Notification).

Job Context:

In the Pharmaceutical Wholesale business the Supply Chain Planning Process is central to ensure product availability to customers through ensuring the correct level of inventory, optimising service levels in relation to inventory employed and to ensure a low level of inventory obsolescence across the complete AH warehouse network.
The role supports the Supply Chain Planning functions across 9 AH markets, ( this equates to >200,000 SKUs across 350 warehouses in 9 markets, serving greater than 120,000 customers). Furthermore, the Role operates in consideration of differing regulatory conditions in all markets including Parallel Import, Grey Market and Speculative purchasing decisions (impacting Planning operations).
Role supports the 9 AH Planning leaders in each market to ensure talent management, retention & development for the Planning community, as well as succession planning for key roles and also to support local teams with employee assessment and recruitment.

What you'll be doing:

Support the development of cross functional projects to deliver the Supply Chain digitalisation agenda (EDI / Order confirmation/ ASN).Role supports development initiatives related to the improvement of product availability, shortages reduction, Supply Chain performance and Operational Improvement initiatives related to Alliance Healthcare's main vendors.Role delivers through development and deployment of Operating Standards - Brilliant Basics (as well as being a key enabler / contributor to Operational Productivity Improvement achievement).Role supports implementation and measurement of Supply Chain Planning standards and process standardisation (Including engagement of key stakeholders in Operations) to deliver best in class volume forecasting capability and adherence to vendor performance metrics. (key link between Planning, Operations and Manufacturer Relations).What your background should look like

What you'll have:

>10 years' experience of working in similar Supply Chain Planning roles, with specific experience in Demand Planning (including S&OP)Experience of working in multinational organisations. Should have experience of working in both Matrix and integrated business models.Experience working with multi market business change as well having an empathetic appreciation of cultural diversity and inclusion.Ability in problem solving, analysis and interpretation. Solid understanding of financial implications of business drivers and impacts of actions. Excellent interpersonal, influencing, teamwork & relationship skills as well as solid analytical and influencing skills.Advanced knowledge of Supply Chain Planning Systems, their capability and use for the organisation. Be able to lead selection of new planning systems and work with local and divisional teams to implement successfully to time and cost. (multi million $ contracts / projects).Experience in processes optimization, implementing process changes and maximizing operational performance.Understanding of current Supply Chain Planning developments and trends in process design and implementation together with the capabilities and technology road map of the vendors in the market place.Strong systems analysis and process improvements.Experience in negotiation with external suppliers and with internal stake holders in both Senior Divisional roles and across the 9 AH markets.

Skills & Knowledge:

Fluency in English (Essential) plus an additional European Language (desirable)Project management skills and ability to manage teams of people against deadlines and strict deliverables.Knowledge of and understanding of finance principles.Good working knowledge of FMCG and Pharmaceutical industry (including Healthcare trends, understanding of therapeutic areas combined with product and industry knowledge) - Desirable Operations discipline with a focus on delivering efficiencies and synergies gained through optimization of processesSolid Supply Chain Planning and vendor management capabilities.

Travel Requirements:

Due to multi market, cross functional nature of the role and need to engage Stakeholders at all business levels across the 9 AH markets, role holder is expected to be travelling internationally between 25% - 30% of working time.
