Contract Supply Chain Planning Lead

Orion Electrotech, a prominent global entity in design, development, and manufacturing, is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planning Lead on a contractual basis to support a diverse range of electro-mechanical products.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the master planning operations on-site, leading a proficient team of planners, buyers, and schedulers.

Your expertise in Master Scheduling and strategic insight will be essential in enhancing manufacturing efficiency and ensuring timely material release to production, thereby supporting On Time Delivery (OTD) objectives.

Exceptional management and leadership capabilities are crucial. As the Supply Chain Planning Lead, you will inspire, guide, and develop your team while fostering a culture of master planning to achieve the company's On Time Delivery and World Class Reliability targets.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning and demand management team on-site
  • Provide strategic direction to facilitate improvements within the planning and demand function
  • Manage the material master process utilizing SAP

We are looking for a driven, commercially astute individual capable of leading and implementing systems and business transformations to ensure timely material delivery to production.

A background in engineering or supply chain management, along with several years of experience in planning complex production schedules, is preferred.

Proficiency in SAP or ERP/MRP systems is essential.

This role is likely to appeal to professionals with experience as a Master Scheduler, Supply Chain Planning Lead, Material Control Manager, Manufacturing Planning Team Leader, or similar positions.
