A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RECEPTION MANAGER AT HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS LONDON SOUTHWARK.

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Deputy General Manager you can expect your working day to include the following. 

Responsible for the day to day running of the front desk, flexibility in overseeing shifts (including weekends), managing guest expectations, and delivering guest satisfaction. Acting as a Duty Manager on a rota basis Engage, lead and develop the team to provide excellent guest service. Train and implement Brand standards within the team. Ensure all team responsibilities are completed to the required standards.

To succeed in the role of Reception Manager, you will need the following qualities and skills. 

Experience of working within a branded hotel environment, in a customer facing role. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a positive can-do attitude. Friendly efficient team player. A visible leader who can demonstrate a confident approach to problem solving and service recovery. Ability to train and develop your team, with a planned approach to managing the team Deliver excellent customer service. Proactive shift management skills and great time management skills. Enthusiastic with the ability to multitask
