Role Description

The purpose of this role is to manage and monitor all business and IT change impacting the finance function, ensuring that the change portfolio aligns with Allianz strategic and commercial goals, reduces risk, and maximizes value to the business.

This role is also responsible for the effective allocation, planning and timely reporting of all finance technical and testing resources, ensuring the assignment of the resources to the change portfolio are maximised for efficiency.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and optimize the allocation of resources for the project and change portfolio based on Allianz strategic and commercial goals. Monitoring resource capacity and demand, anticipating potential bottlenecks and proposing solutions.
  • Design, create, deliver, and maintain timely resource allocation and resource capacity reports, which will provide informative view of the projects in the pipeline looking orward 1, 2, 3 4 years etc, these reports should include:
  • Project strategic goal, Cost Benefit
  • Channel e.g. Retail, Broker, Regulatory, Statutory, Specialty Commercial, Business Partnering/FPA
  • Resource Management - Allocation view across various projects
  • System dependencies
  • Other Project Dependencies
  • Deadlines/Milestones
  • Risk Mitigation related to resourcing for each project in the portfolio.
  • Working and collaborating with the Finance Management Team, Project Managers and leads:
  • to identify and monitor upcoming Projects which will impact the finance function e.g. financial regulatory and statutory changes  
  • identify upcoming resource requirements and potential constraints.
  • Oversee and manage the Finance Systems JIRA small change repository, driving delivery of small change that will lead to continuous improvement of the finance function
  • Attend and contribute to service reviews which are held with between the Finance Systems team and customers such as Finance Ops/Financial Control / Business Partnering /FP&A to identify and upcoming change that will lead to continuous improvement of the finance function
