Our client is a prominent provider of integrated waste management, quarrying, and construction solutions, dedicated to sustainability and innovation.
In light of their ongoing expansion, they are seeking to recruit a Site Operations Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities – Site Operations ManagerAs the Site Operations Manager, you will oversee the production of the required quantity and quality of materials safely while minimizing costs in accordance with budgetary constraints and other objectives. You will ensure adherence to the Company's Safety Policy, the Quarries Regulations 1999 Act, and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
You will be accountable for compliance with the Quarries Regulations 1999 for the designated sites.
Qualifications & Experience – Site Operations Manager- VQ Level 6 Diploma in Safety, Health and Environmental Management in Mineral Product Operations.
- NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plant Operations and a competency qualification for operating quarry machinery.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the mineral products sector, ideally in sand and gravel.
- Strong knowledge of plant and machinery, including maintenance and operational planning.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Quarries Regulations Act 1999 and ACOP.
- Customer-oriented, ensuring that service and quality standards are consistently met while optimizing operational performance.
