Senior Vehicle Management/Mission Systems Engineer

Support the FalconWorks Systems Delivery and platform teams in analysing and selecting solutions for future platforms Vehicle Management Systems
Refine platform concept of operations into Vehicle Management System requirements and design
Liaise closely with the Commercial/Procurement teams to provide technical oversight during supplier management, contract negotiations and risk reviews
Support System Safety activities such as Fault Tree Analysis
Interfacing and Control Techniques, working in both the digital and analogue domains
Experience of working at all levels of the systems engineering lifecycle and be able to develop and communicate clear and concise requirements, as well as understand the principles and advantages of Requirements Management
An understanding of the physical, functional and performance challenges of developing safety critical Airborne Vehicle Control systems and closely integrating these with the platform
Experience of building safety critical control system architectures, setting these systems to work and fault finding when necessary
Experience of analysing test data to identify problems or to demonstrate requirements compliance
Familiarity with digital communication interfaces, such as Ethernet, 1394b, 1553, RS-422/485 etc

The Systems Delivery Team, within the FalconWorks® organisation, strives to shape and deliver the next generation of Mission Systems and Vehicle Management Systems. It is critical to bring together experienced Mission Systems, and Vehicle Management Systems Engineers to support the establishment of this new capability
Activities will focus on developing and delivering Vehicle Management Systems to support a growing range of FalconWorks® platforms
