Position: Senior Avionic Systems Engineer

Role Overview:
As a Senior Avionic Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and qualification of Avionic systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the creation of qualification plans and test documentation for Avionic systems.
- Analyzing test evidence to assess compliance with qualification standards and addressing any non-compliance issues.
- Collaborating with the Safety team to establish minimum testing requirements for Safety Critical Function Chains (SCFC).
- Managing software issues and coordinating fixes while engaging with relevant stakeholders.
- Providing urgent support for customer inquiries related to in-service queries.
This position is vital for the qualification of Typhoon Avionic design modifications, requiring close collaboration with Safety and Clearance teams to ensure timely delivery of new capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
As a senior engineer, you will:
- Operate with increased autonomy and assist the Group Leader in team duties.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Mission Systems, preferably within aerospace or military environments.
- Familiarity with system-level functional testing processes.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork capability.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of the Typhoon platform.
- Experience in trials data analysis and management.
- Familiarity with design tools and methodologies.
- Experience with requirements management and system certification processes.
