Position Title: Systems Engineering Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in advanced technology projects, contributing to the enhancement of aviation capabilities by:
  • Creating model representations of systems and platforms, including requirements, functional, plant, and control models that contribute to a digital twin of the platform.
  • Collaborating with a network of engineers to analyze the interactions between interfacing systems and platforms.
  • Formulating strategies to leverage modeling for optimizing verification, validation, demonstrations, and trial activities.
  • Conducting model verification activities using real-world data from service and trials.
  • Identifying solutions and options that provide benefits at a platform level, often across multiple platforms.
  • Guiding and influencing a diverse and highly skilled community of specialist engineers and team leaders.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience (HND/HNC).
  • Experience in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with aircraft systems operations and key performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in analyzing system and aircraft performance.
  • Ideally, experience with logical and mathematical engineering tools (e.g., SysML, Matlab/Simulink, Cameo System Modeller).
  • Understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering principles and tools.
