Role Overview:

As a CAD Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality support for CAD services. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Managing incidents and requests related to CAD services, including user support for CAD tools.
  • Overseeing the development, integration, testing, certification, and deployment of new and updated CAD tools.
  • Monitoring and reporting on security incidents, including vulnerability remediation.
  • Facilitating license renewals, purchasing, hosting, and utilization monitoring.
  • Transitioning services into a structured service model through Operational Readiness Reviews.
  • Managing access through application configuration or Active Directory.
  • Conducting infrastructure monitoring, hardware evaluation, testing, and oversight.
  • Creating and maintaining stakeholder communication lists and supporting engagement initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with IT governance and security policies.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Proficient understanding of engineering CAD tools, primarily Siemens NX, and secondarily Dassault Systèmes CATIA V5.
  • A comprehensive engineering background with insights into the design community.
  • Familiarity with the complete lifecycle of both hardware and software.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of ITIL V4 terminology.
