Head of training Business Development

Russell Publishing is recruiting for a Senior Business Development Manager or a Business Development Director to join our growing sales/ business development team, it is essential for applicants to have experience within a B2B media/ publishing/ events environment.
We operate a hybrid working policy, 2 days a week in the office, due to the nature of our location, you will require a vehicle to commute.
Our business development/ sales team is responsible for identifying and developing strong relationships with new and existing clients to generate revenue through sales of print, digital, event and conference products. You must be able to demonstrate their individual success and achievements in generating revenue for both print and digital products. UK and International travel to visit clients and to attend external industry events is required.
Proactively develop new business to expand client base and increase sales
facilitate and setup meetings via teams or at external conferences and events.
Business Development:
Issuing campaign performance reports to clients.
Recording all client information and follow processes within CRM.
Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets on your allocated brand.
Attendance at relevant exhibitions/conferences with international travel.
5 years experience of business development/ sales or publishing, media, sponsorship or delegates sales is essential
~ Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
~ Knowledge and use of CRMs.
~ Networking and building effective relationships
~ Time management – punctuality, planning & meeting deadlines.
~ Commercial awareness.
