Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team at Jayne Peirce Travel Recruitment.

As the Head of Business Development, you will oversee a portfolio of specialist brands, leading the teams to achieve company targets. You will have responsibility for product, sales, marketing, and operations with a key focus on team leadership.

The successful applicant for this exciting role will have extensive leadership experience as well as knowledge across all business areas, including managing a P&L. You will be viewed as a credible leader and have the confidence to lead an established team while also looking at ways to achieve business growth.

We're looking for someone who has gained previous experience within a similar general management style position within the travel sector. A passion or enthusiasm for touring and/or driving holidays would be highly advantageous.

This position will be based full-time from our office, with a view to move into more of a hybrid role after 6-12 months.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of operations professionals to achieve business targets
  • Developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Managing budgets and financial performance to ensure P&L targets are met
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results
