**Salary**:up to £70k (plus commission)

**About**:
Our client is on impact for profit organisation. They want to plant millions of trees, restore hectares of habitat, and implement a climate solution to remove large amounts of CO2 from the atmosphere.

**The Role**:
We’re looking for a Head of Sales to lead the Sales & Partnerships team. You will create, build, and maintain relationships with clients, as well as identifying and reporting on business opportunities in key markets.

You will have very strong and proven sales and partnership management skills, having previously delivered against ambitious targets and having managed sales team members. You will be responsible for delivering ambitious sales targets through building a customer centric culture, fusing a deep understanding of our users with data driven insight.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Create and execute sales and commercial strategies aimed at accelerating revenue growth
- Establish competitive market pricing through understanding of future trends
- Identify and target new customers and turn them into accounts and manage and retain a portfolio of current customers
- Structure long-term commercial deals with B2B companies and platforms.
- Ensure the Sales and Partnerships Team has appropriate systems and processes in place
- Design programmes to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate closely with other business functions such as product development, finance, and operations to align plans across the organisation
- Develop, mentor, and manage the Sales and Partnerships Team, and contribute to the motivation, drive, and development of new talent within the organisation
- Lead on the development of and reporting against budgets within your department
- Deliver an accurate twelve-month rolling forecast that accounts for sales trends

**What you will bring to the role**:

- You will have at least 3 + years of experience in a Business Development or Sales related role. (Experience in the sustainability sector is a plus)
- Significant and proven success in delivering sales targets and business growth.
- A proven track record of driving new business through prospecting and of selling into corporates and arranging multi-year deals.
- Financially literate with evidence of budget control and forecasting across multiple product lines
- The ability to think strategically and implement short-term and longer-term sales objectives that reflect the business objectives
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
- Strong team management and development experience
- Collaborative, positive, and can-do approach
