Strategic Partner Manager – EMEA Platform & API Partnerships

Fueling our growth, we're seeking a Strategic Partner Manager to build strong relationships with key platform partners.  This is your chance to leverage your sales and partnership expertise, along with a passion for design and technology to collaborate with partners and deliver value to their users through type and tech. It is anticipated that this role with involve travel (40%). 

   

What you’ll be doing:   

  • Learn the product offerings to become a subject matter expert for key partners.  
  • Develop account and territory sales plans and strategies for assigned partner targets to meet assigned sales quotas and goals.   
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and maintain key relationships to educate potential partners on products and services, product integration, and value propositions.  
  • Prepare and present partner proposals based on a combination of direct licensing and royalty models.   
  • Organize, track and maintain partner account and contact information, as well as prospect updates in CRM database.   
  • Develop a deep understanding of the products or services we offer, as well as any competitors. 
  • Review and negotiate complex agreements and be the primary contact for Monotype.   
  • Own and resolve general inquiries pertaining to platform partners.   
  • Collaborate across the organization with marketing, support, pre-sales engineering, and account management to ensure go to market strategies.   
  • Attend and participate in trade shows and seminars as needed.   
  • Participate in other tasks or projects as requested by supervisor/manager.   

   

What we’re looking for 

  • BA in business, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a sales/partnerships role with a track record of meeting and/or exceeding targets. 
  • Previous experience within software, technology, publishing, media, and advertising or design market segments, desirable.
  • Experience in planning and implementing Account and Territory Management strategies.   
  • Strong prospecting skills, desired.
  • Excellent contract negotiation skills.   
  • Ability to conceptualize technical solutions, leveraging APIs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, being able to effectively communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders.  
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Excelling relationship building skills including the ability to resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise.  
  • Ability to exercise persistence and be extremely focused at the task at hand. 
  • Agile mentality, being able to adapt to ever changing sales landscape.
