We are looking for a Partner Development Manager who will deepen our most strategic relationships and execute on high-impact initiatives and strategy with payments technology partners (e.g. EMEA Wallets and BNPLs). These partnerships form the basis of Stripe’s product and as part of these efforts, this person will build internal business cases and identify product requirements, influence cross-functional teams and ensure internal alignment. Manage Stripe’s most critical EMEA payment method partnerships, with a focus on driving the execution of joint initiatives and launching new offerings to benefit Stripe users
Gather inputs from and coordinate with internal cross-functional stakeholders (including risk, compliance, product, engineering, treasury) to drive creation and execution of partner (and related product) strategy
Manage strategic planning and deal negotiation/expansion with our key EMEA payments partner(s)
Manage multiple stakeholders with varying priorities and drive creative solutions and commitment to a shared goal
Uses strategic and product creativity to collaborate with Stripe leaders to develop new models for global payments systems and networks
The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
~12+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate development or related field
~Thorough understanding of EMEA payment method dynamics and business models
~ Experience negotiating commercial deals with local payment methods, including scaling such deals across multiple partners
~ Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
