This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team covering Conwy and Denbighshire. The post holder will work as an autonomous practitioner following professional codes of conduct and ethics, carrying a specialist paediatric caseload which will include assessment and intervention for children with complex co-ordination difficulties and sensory needs. 

Clinical activities can take place in a wide range of settings including hospital, clinic and community settings and patients own homes

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be expected to carry out training and workshops for education staff and parents.

Duties will also include supervising Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy support workers and students and in addition may provide supervision or guidance and support to support workers from another discipline. The post holder will support the learning and development of others including colleagues and peers. 

The post holder will contribute to service developments providing advice as a specialist within their department which can include attending meetings and participation in audit, service evaluation and researching evidence based practice.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
