The shift pattern for this position is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9-5 (RWW). 

(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

A vacancy for an 8B Clinical or Counselling Psychologist has arisen in the Stobhill Psychiatric Inpatient Service. The Inpatient Psychology Service at Stobhill Hospital delivers a high quality service to acute admissions units, mental health rehabilitation wards and an intensive psychiatric care unit. The team comprises of this post and 3 part-time Principal Clinical Psychology staff (8C and 8A), and works closely with MDT staff across the site.

Applications are invited from Clinical or Counselling Psychologists, registered with the HCPC.
Post-qualification experience in a psychiatric inpatient/ rehabilitation setting is desirable, and/or post-qualification experience of working with adult with complex mental health problems. For a full person specification, please refer to the job description.
The successful candidate will join the join the wider psychology department which brings together the North East Glasgow /East Dunbartonshire psychology department, providing access to a range of professional development and CPD opportunities.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
