Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Nurse to join our team at the Glasgow Clinical Research Facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to participants in stroke research studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the recruitment, treatment, education, monitoring, and follow-up of research participants
  • Collect and document accurate study data
  • Work collaboratively with Principal and Chief Investigators and the wider multi-disciplinary team
  • Manage own caseload of research patients
  • Ensure adherence to research principles, including confidentiality, randomization procedures, informed consent, and ethical issues
Requirements
  • First-level registered nurse with relevant clinical experience
  • Education to degree level (or working towards)
  • Significant, current, and relevant clinical experience
  • Ability to prioritize own and staff workload to achieve agreed timelines, quality standards, and targets
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience of working in both academic and commercial research
  • Knowledge of current research regulations and governance requirements
