We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner, to serve as the senior financial interface between CHP Directorates and the Finance function. Building and maintaining strong relationships with Directorate budget holders, providing financial assistance and insight to support delivery of Corporate and Directorate targets, enhance decision-making and ensure efficient and value-for-money use of resources. Shaping and enhancing the business partnership service, ensuring targets are met, evaluating financial risks, recommending finance process and infrastructure improvements, and coaching the Finance Business Partners to ensure continuous customer service.


What you'll be doing

  • Serve as the senior financial interface between CHP Directorates and the Finance function, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Support Directorates in delivery of targets, implementing value-for-money initiatives and developing financial efficiency.
  • Deliver management accounting services and provide excellent financial information to support decision-making.
  • Undertake financial modelling to evaluate project and decision proposals.
  • Support financial reporting, business planning, growth and funding initiatives, asset management, and salary budgeting.

What we are looking for

  • Fully qualified accountant, e.g., relevant CCAB, CIMA or equivalent qualification or equivalent demonstrable prior learning.
  • Experience in a senior finance business partnering role with proven ability to engage and influence management and decision-making.
  • Extensive experience in preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, and financial statements.
  • Skilled in distilling complex analysis and presenting findings succinctly.
  • Expertise in forecasting and guiding leadership from a financial perspective.

This is a Hybrid working role and the office attendance is expected to be 2 days a week.
