Our Team Leader

We are looking for a dedicated Food and Beverage Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our F&B outlets across our busy Visitor Attraction. As 1 of 3, your primary responsibility will be to ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining our high service standards. Your strong customer service skills will be key in creating a welcoming environment where our guests feel valued and enjoy their time with us. 

You'll also be responsible for stock control and waste, monitoring food hygiene standards as well as coaching and supporting your team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and enhance our service standards to ensure every guest has a positive and memorable experience.

  • Assist in stock controls, costs and waste management

  • Ensuring all departmental procedures are adhered to. Ensure all statutory health and safety is met, up to date and constantly reviewed
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with different departments and people, working effectively and maintaining a holistic overview across all areas.
  • Follow systems to manage your team and overall presentation of your department to ensure high standards are upheld.

Where you’ll be working - Food and Beverage across the Visitor Attraction

This role will be predominantly covering our 3 core food and beverage venues as well as ad-hocly assisting with Estate events:

  • The Story of Gardening - An interactive experience, designed to guide visitors through gardens in time. The F&B offering is based around the gardens on display.
  • The Hive -  Based in our Four Seasons Garden, The Hive offers a refreshing resting point for our guests on their journey throughout The Newt Estate. 
  • The Cyder Bar -  The Cyder Bar is the first go-to spot in our gardens for delicious pastries, fresh salads and a variety of drinks. Whether our guests are looking for a warming coffee on a cold day or a refreshing cyder to sip in the sun. Our baristas always offer a warm welcome with a smile.
