Beverage Operations Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a motivated Team Leader to oversee the daily operations at the Story of Gardening, which features an engaging exhibition and café. In this position, you will manage inventory and waste, guide and mentor your team to deliver exceptional hospitality, uphold high service standards, and assist your manager in ensuring smooth operations. You will collaborate closely with our Health and Safety team to maintain a secure environment for all. If you possess prior experience in Food & Beverage, value teamwork, and have a passion for hospitality, this role may be ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure your department operates in a productive, innovative, and efficient manner.
- Enhance guest experiences by monitoring and managing expectations, implementing improvements as needed.
- Assist in managing inventory, costs, and waste.
- Ensure compliance with all departmental procedures and statutory health and safety regulations.
- Build and maintain relationships across various departments, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of all areas.
- Monitor and uphold food quality standards, providing suggestions based on current trends and guest feedback.
- Encourage personal and team development, focusing on productivity, performance, and presentation.
- Implement systems to manage your team and maintain high standards of departmental presentation.
- Represent the company professionally, ensuring you and your team maintain impeccable appearances.
- Uphold the company's service style and ethos consistently.
