Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join General Surgery as a TraineeAdvanced Clinical Practitioner. We are a well-established team of Advanced ClinicalPractitioners who have been a part of the General Surgical Division for over 10years. You will be working as part of the Surgical Team providing face to facepatient care, leadership, expertise, advice and support to the UECC, SurgicalAssessment Unit and Surgical Wards ensuring the provision of high quality carefrom the first point of contact. Our Advanced Clinical Practitioners areexpected to participate in teaching, service improvement, and audit and haveopportunities to develop procedural skills and special interests. Thesuccessful Trainee Practitioner will be supported with fully funded training toobtain your MSc in Advanced Practice. We are keen to appoint a Trainee AdvancedPractitioner with previous experience in a surgical background but are happyfor applicants from wider nursing background to also apply. The successfulcandidate will be provided with a robust induction and personal developmentplan to meet their professional needs whilst working closely with all the ACPas well as Consultant Clinical Supervisor/Educator.
