About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at NHS Professionals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing both acute medical needs and long-term health management.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, using advanced clinical knowledge and skills to assess, diagnose, and manage complex patient presentations.
  • Conduct advanced health assessments and clinical examinations, making clinical decisions based on these assessments and managing patients accordingly.
  • Work effectively with patients, families, and carers to provide education, support, and guidance on health and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines that promote high-quality patient care and safety.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of services.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Allied Health Care Professional with a level 7 Masters degree in advanced clinical practice or equivalent.
  • Advanced Life Support (provider) qualification and evidence of CPD relevant to unscheduled/emergency care.
  • Independent prescribing qualification and teaching qualification.
  • Paediatric advanced Life support qualification and instructor status for RCUK courses.
  • Leadership qualification and experience of working in unscheduled/emergency care for at least 5 years.
