About the Role:
NHS Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing both acute medical needs and long-term health management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced health assessments and clinical examinations of patients with highly complex presentations and make clinical decisions based on these assessments.
- Work unsupervised to advise and recommend treatment for patients using clinical judgment, and decision-making skills in accordance with agreed local, regional, and national policies and guidelines.
- In partnership with other clinical teams, collaborate on improving the quality of healthcare responding to local and national policies and initiatives as appropriate.
- Assess the impact of policy implementation on care delivery.
- Recognize and work within own competency and professional code of conduct as regulated by the NMC/HCPC.
- Assess effectiveness of care delivery through self and peer review, benchmarking, and formal audit and evaluation in the quality governance systems and processes of the division.
- Understand and apply legal issues that support the identification of vulnerable children and adults. To understand the statutory child/vulnerable health policy and procedures regarding domestic violence, vulnerable adults, substance abuse, and addictive behavior.
- Ensure health and safety is maintained at all times.
- Work effectively with others to clearly define values, direction, and policies.
- Contribute to the delivery of specifically identified services or projects.
Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse / HCPC Registered Allied Health Care Professional who meet the legal prescribing standard to be able to train as a non-medical prescriber.
- Paediatric advanced Life support qualification.
- Driving Licence (preferred).
