About the Role:

NHS Professionals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds, addressing both acute medical needs and long-term health management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced health assessments and clinical examinations of patients with highly complex presentations and make clinical decisions based on these assessments.
  • Work unsupervised to advise and recommend treatment for patients using clinical judgment, and decision-making skills in accordance with agreed local, regional, and national policies and guidelines.
  • In partnership with other clinical teams, collaborate on improving the quality of healthcare responding to local and national policies and initiatives as appropriate.
  • Assess the impact of policy implementation on care delivery.
  • Recognize and work within own competency and professional code of conduct as regulated by the NMC/HCPC.
  • Assess effectiveness of care delivery through self and peer review, benchmarking, and formal audit and evaluation in the quality governance systems and processes of the division.
  • Understand and apply legal issues that support the identification of vulnerable children and adults. To understand the statutory child/vulnerable health policy and procedures regarding domestic violence, vulnerable adults, substance abuse, and addictive behavior.
  • Ensure health and safety is maintained at all times.
  • Work effectively with others to clearly define values, direction, and policies.
  • Contribute to the delivery of specifically identified services or projects.

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Nurse / HCPC Registered Allied Health Care Professional who meet the legal prescribing standard to be able to train as a non-medical prescriber.
  • Paediatric advanced Life support qualification.
  • Driving Licence (preferred).
