AVEDA - Textured Hair and Technical Educator (Midlands)

Aveda Education are looking for a talented Texture and Technical Hair Colour Educator to join the team. The overall purpose of this role is to be an expert in texture hair and hair colour, inspiring the Aveda network through education events either in-salon, academy or online.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and deliver the Aveda Texture curriculum for the UK region
  • Lead and deliver technical hair colour education for salon accounts in the Midlands, North England & Scotland
  • Attract and convert new salons who specialize in prestige texture services
  • Expand skill base of the Aveda network to execute prestige texture services
  • Exceed Hair Colour and Styling growth targets on area
  • Track and monitor progress in achieving regional growth objectives
  • Grow engagement and conversion through virtual colour education
  • Deliver education classes from Mastery – Creative
  • Attend skill building training as required
  • Accountable for delivering all courses to a minimum established standard of competency
  • Complete all training to a minimum standard of competency assessed through product knowledge tests, performance of technical applications and presentation of domain specific product information
  • Recruit, develop and retain Aveda texture Ambassadors
  • Mentor Aveda texture Ambassadors as required
  • Ensure that Salon Development Partners on your area are trained in all Aveda product knowledge, mission, philosophy, points of difference and can conduct basic education as required
  • Maintain regular communication with Salon Development Partners and National Education Manager to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Manage expenses within targets set by National Education Manager
  • Be proactive with diary planning
  • Organise car stock in line with targets set by National Education Manager

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of hairdressing
  • Outstanding colour skills & passion for hair colour
  • Min. 5 years’ experience in hairdressing industry
  • Excellent use of professional social media account
  • Experience in delivering education curriculum and programmes is an advantage
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skill
  • Outstanding facilitation skills
  • Excellent camera/presentation skills
  • Ability to understand financial and sales reports
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Experience in coaching others
  • Willing to stay away from home around 3 nights per week with occasional travel on Sundays.
