As a Bookings Administrator at our Tunbridge Wells Hospital, you'll be responsible for effectively and efficiently administering a large caseload of patients within our outpatient department, ensuring the company is able to meet / exceed their service deliverables from a quantitative and qualitative perspective at all times. You'll bring a keen eye for detail, previous experience working in a fast paced customer service environment, strong secretarial skills, great communication skills, as well as an understanding of the importance of policies and operating procedures. You're proficient with Microsoft Office, comfortable working with numbers and you're committed to providing our teams with the best level of support. As a Bookings Administrator you will:
To ensure complex administration and support meets all required standards and timescales.
To handle all enquires, or queries raised efficiently and effectively, escalating appropriately where necessary.
To ensure all data/information is entered, modified, maintained and presented accurately and efficiently using the appropriate electronic or manual system and format.
To provide clinic support, including but not limited to, appointment booking and changes
coordination of room/consultant availability
Apply charges to patients accounts accurately and within specified timeframes
Create, alter or cancel clinics as required to support business needs
