We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our client's healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and high-quality personal care to residents with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Supporting patients with mobility and activities of daily living
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Assisting healthcare professionals with medical procedures
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
- Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of patient areas
- Adhering to all health and safety standards
