Brent Universal Children’s Service is seeking Administrators to support our Universal Health Visiting and School Nursing services across Brent.

You will be joining a forward thinking and innovative integrated Universal Children’s Service providing Health Visiting, School Nursing, Infant Nutrition and Healthy Weight services in Brent. We have excellent relationships with services across Brent and work in partnership with Brent Family Well Being Centres and the Brent Early Years Teams.

We are seeking an individual with anadministrativebackground and good understanding of using data bases and clinical record systems. You willbe motivated and innovativeand keen to provide excellent customer service to support the Universal Children’s Service todeliver quality family centredcare where children are at the heart of the work we do. You will have the ability rise to the challenges of supporting in busy teams, booking appointments working to time frames and inputting data into the Clinical Record System. You will be supported and work within Health Visiting and School Nursing teams or MASH supported the Clinical Leadership and wider resources of the service, Divisional Business Management Team, and Division, CLCH and the CLCH Academy.

The Childrens Division Administrative Single Point of Access team is responsible for processing and registering new referrals booking clinics and client appointments to support achievement of service key performance indicators/targets, updating waiting lists, and communicating appointment related information to patients, carers and health professionals. They aim to make effective use of resources, reduce duplication and ensure that referrals are effectively and safely managed through the system.

The post holder is responsible for working collaboratively with team members to effectively coordinate and deliver a high quality of service. They will be an ambassador for the service; will be motivated to provide first class administration; in a professional manner in order to support the work of the service and meet strategic and business objectives.

The post holder is a member of the Admin SPA team and the responsibilities of the team are to support clinical services. The post holder will also work within designated divisional teams to support clinical services and specifically:

- Assisting in organising the team’s workload through effective diary management
- The ordering of equipment and supplies
- Supporting the integrated team therapists/ nurses with daily administrative duties

The post holder will also take responsibility for booking clinics and appointments, process new referrals, update waiting lists and communicating appointment related information to service users, families and carers.
