Main duties of the job

The Patient Pathway Coordinator (PPC) will lead on the tracking of pathways of patients. By working closely with a wide range of clinical and managerial staff and providing a high standard of administrative support, the post holder will ensure patients receive treatment as soon as possible and ensure national targets are met.

The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and be willing to provide coverage in the event of staff absences. This role is crucial in providing consistent support to our patients and clinical teams.

JOB SUMMARY

To work within the Clinical Support Team to deliver high quality administrative services to designated clinical services.

To ensure RTT targets are achieve by tracking patients pathways and escalating issues

To schedule in patient/out patient appointments

To process vascular clinical letters

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To be responsible for providing administrative support to Clinical Teams

To ensure that patient pathways are tracked to be diagnosed and treated as quickly as possible, ensuring this is achieved within relevant RTT standards.

To support the Service Manager to ensure all administrative processes are delivered including data and evidence collection for relevant national audits.
