Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Department at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. We are looking to appoint a clinical fellow in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery to work alongside existing senior trainees and fellows.
Main Responsibilities
The post will provide specialized vascular and interventional radiology experience that will assist in the progression of specialized training. The post holder will be involved in all aspects of the treatment and management of vascular patients, including:
- Participating with colleagues in the continuous provision of vascular services provided by the Trust.
- Participating fully with the multidisciplinary team in the care of vascular inpatients and outpatients.
- Participating and cooperating in the department's audit and research programme.
- Undertaking regular weekly ward rounds for inpatients as part of the consultant/registrar of the week on call team.
- Participating in operating theatre/angiography suite sessions and outpatient clinics.
- Supervising and teaching junior medical staff and students.

Person Specification
The appointee will need to have:
- MRCS or equivalent.
- Demonstrated 12 months' experience in vascular at ST3+ or equivalent.
- Experience of working in vascular surgical specialty in the NHS (desirable).
