and main responsibilities

To effectively facilitate and support the implementation of new and innovative ways of working, based upon local and national standards and highlighted as positive for delivery of services, by working with the Clinical Director, Directorate and senior team, ensuring at all times that professional standards are achieved and maintained;

Give clear input into delivery and review of policy and procedures regarding 18 weeks working closely with the Performance Lead proving expert knowledge, training and information to all levels of staff;

Consult with other service managers in the provision of joint services, to provide information to the CCG as and when required to assist with networking within and outside the Dorset system;

Support delivery and implementation of the timetable for new junior doctors coming to the Trust every year to ensure that our waits are maintained.

Qualifications

Essential criteria

Degree in Business Management or equivalent experience

Desirable criteria

Specialist knowledge across range of procedures, underpinned by theory.

Experience

Experience of service and quality improvement within a healthcare setting Experience in waiting list management and an understanding of how to progress pathways
