The Role
As an Administrator in our Bookings Department you will;
Deal with all administration tasks for inpatient/outpatient bookings including booking appointments, liaising with consultants, patients and various departments around the hospital and processing patient details.
Handle telephone enquires efficiently and effectively, providing excellent customer service.
Ensure all data/information is entered, modified, maintained and presented accurately and efficiently using the appropriate electronic or manual system and format.
Ensure that work is carried out to required standard and within agreed working practices and procedures, prioritising the workload as necessary.
Require experience in a customer service role
Have good communication/interpersonal skills
Be a good team player
Have the ability to work independently
The Person
To succeed as an Administrator you will;
Have the ability to manage, appraise and interpret the right data, and to present it in a timely and professional manner.
Have experience within an administrative or customer facing environment would be a real advantage.
Have the ability and confidence to engage with a variety of stakeholders, including consultants, secretaries and patients
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, with a positive can-do attitude.
Stay calm under pressure with the ability to multi-skill.
