SEMH Support Worker

 

This SEMH school in Hackney are currently loooking for an experienced and patient support worker to join them ASAP and continuing until the end of the academic year. This position is likely to extend into the new academic year for the right person with SEMH experience.

 

The role:

- Working on a 1-1 basis with a child with SEMH needs

- Working alongside the class teacher to effectively meet the needs of students within the class

- Building strong relationships with both the students and other members of staff

- Following EHCPs and recording any student progress

 

Must haves:

- DBS on the update service

- Right to work in the UK 

- Any experience working with SEN - adults or children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
