The Opportunity 

The Group HR Systems Analyst, working with the Group HR Systems Manager, is responsible for the efficient and effective management, maintenance, and enhancement of Dechra’s HR systems. This role ensures that the global HR technology is optimised to support Dechra’s HR processes, reporting requirements and strategies, contributing to the overall productivity and success of Dechra.

Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

Act as the super-user for Oracle Fusion and support the wider HR team, escalating only those issues that you cannot resolve to the third-party support partner. Ensure end user support documentation is kept up to date to consider any system improvements. Identify opportunities for improving business processes by working in partnership with the wider HR and operational teams, automating routine HR tasks where possible. Support global HR teams and wider operational businesses in reporting, data collation, HR system administration. Support the Group HR Systems Manager in administrating and creating dashboards and reports, and in conducting data analysis, to support HR decision-making and strategic planning, maintaining a continuous improvement culture relating to Dechra’s Business Information (BI) strategy, spanning multiple Group HR Systems. Maintain databases, reports, and records across multiple Group HR Systems. Assist the Group HR Systems Manager with global HR systems related project implementations and new module adoptions and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met. Support Group HR Systems Manager in testing the functionality within reports, rebuild of reports and where necessary, make improvements to reports to improve accuracy or usability; where possible, take advantage of new functionality to improve management information service e.g. scheduling and bursting reports to specific recipients. Induct new users in the correct use of the Group HR systems. Support wider HR teams in troubleshooting and providing guidance on Group HR Systems related issues raised. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data through regular audits and maintenance. Support the wider HR teams to ensure data input into Group HR Systems is done in a timely manner, in line with country specific payroll and other legislative deadlines. Monitor and manage Group HR System related queries using internal ticketing system. Ensure HR systems comply with data protection regulations and company policies. Maintain data security protocols to protect sensitive HR information. Responsible for own personal health and safety.

Advanced Excel skills with the ability to process and analyse data quickly and effectively Ability to manage own workload, meet deadlines and remain focussed with long term deliverables Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, planning and analytical skills Solid understanding of MS Office Be a self-starter with resilience Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously Ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders internal and external to Dechra Ability to ensure remote teams remain on track to achieving tight deadlines and key milestones Strong technical skills, including proficiency in HRIS and data management tools Experience of assisting with the implementation of HRIS or HR data systems Experience of assessing and streamlining system related HR processes and procedures Experience in training users online, face to face and preparing training material Knowledge of HR processes and best practices Some domestic travel may be required.

Desirable

Understanding of data privacy requirements within multiple jurisdictions Confident in using reporting and analytical software (Power BI, Python) Project management qualification, and / or Data Analysis Qualification CIPD qualified Educated to degree level Experience of working in a manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical Company Previous experience of working in a shared service centre environment with exposure to wide array of HR activities Previous international HR exposure Experience of Oracle HRIS and ADP payroll strongly preferred
