Aspris North Hill House School are looking to recruit an experienced Administrative Assistant to join a busy and professional administration team.

We are looking for enthusiastic multitasker, who is highly skilled and proficient in the use of Microsoft office, excel & word. The successful candidate will be a solution focused member of the team and be able to prioritise competing deadlines in a professional manner.

The successful applicant will be required to assist the Senior Administrator in providing efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the school. These responsibilities include overseeing the HR administration function of the school which includes but isn’t limited to:

Monthly payroll administration Recruitment and onboarding administration HR contract administration Co-ordinating HR meetings, such as return to work and short-term absence meetings Supporting the Senior Administrator and Head Teacher with employee relations enquiries Training monitoring and compliancy administration General administration and reception duties

Set in its own grounds close to Frome town centre, North Hill House is an independent specialist day school for children and young people aged 6 to 19 years with high functioning autistic spectrum disorders, including Asperger’s Syndrome and associated difficulties.

The school has been specifically designed to provide a strong focus for both UK and international students who need different levels of support to succeed, thus allowing young people with autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger’s Syndrome and associated difficulties to thrive effectively in an ever-demanding and complex society. Communication  – Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Positive working relationships, teamwork and communication play a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.

Organisation  –You will need to be confident and organised in general office duties, minute taking and handling student records.

Attentive – No two tasks are the same, so being attentive to greet all visitors, answering telephone calls, booking in appointments, as well as scheduling reviews with other professions.
