Securitas are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for maintaining security standards and ensuring the well-being of others and if you are ready to contribute to a positive and secure atmosphere, we encourage you to apply
This full-time position, offering on average 56 hours per week, working Days & Nights.
Job Opportunity
- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
- Interacting with colleagues and delivery drivers on site
- Access control, CCTV, searching, recording of products leaving site
- Conduct external and internal security patrols.
- Maintain all logbooks and records and ensure health and safety procedures are always followed
- Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices
- Read and adhere to security notices, completing documentation clearly and concisely on any incidents that may have occurred
- Responding to and assisting with emergency situations.
- Comply with carrying out other duties reasonably requested from the line manager
Essential Skills
- Driving Licence - Essential
- SIA - Essential
- Security Experience - 3 years min
- Access to vehicle/good transport links
- IT Literate
- Smart and reliable
- Honest with a good work ethic
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Can do attitude
- Able to work on their own and in a team
