This post is fixed term for 2 years / Mae'r swydd hon yn gyfnod penodol am 2 flynedd.

Job Purpose
- To support the physical and health and well-being of the local community by facilitating wider use of local greenspace, parks and woodlands.
- To promote and establish as a primary objective within all of the Council’s services; the obligation to enhance biodiversity in accordance with the Nature Recovery Plan (2019-2024). This will be achieved through:

- promoting enjoyment of local greenspace, parks and woodlands.
- capacity building
- raising environmental awareness,
- engaging members of the community to improve and care for the local environment
- engaging members of the community vulnerable to poor physical and mental health in appropriate environment and conservation activities
- leading active events
- Work with the local community and Friends groups to develop and lead volunteer programmes, to assist in the development, care and management of local greenspace, parks and woodlands.
- Plan, supervise and manage practical improvements in the green infrastructure across the project areas.
