The DBS Creative Services team provides in-house agency-style creative support for hundreds of projects and pieces each year. The department's mission is to produce distinctive work that visually and linguistically communicate the brand on a broad range of products and services.

The Role

The DBS Creative Services team works on a variety of projects from high-level, long-term conceptual work to quick-turn digital and print projects. This team consists of a tightly knit group of individuals with strong communication skills and the ability to challenge existing designs in pursuit of client-centric designs with the user always in mind. Deeply rooted in brand development and build out of design systems.

The purpose of the role is to manage the day-to-day workflow within the busy corporate design studio. Working as part of a growing design team that operates globally, the role will require you to assist with the project management and coordination of larger design projects and to assist with ensuring a high standard of design and artwork output from the studio.

Job Specification:
 

•Being the front-line point of contact for all design requests and queries coming into the studio and managing the day-to-day workflow of these.

•Booking in design jobs/projects, including the generating of job tickets and setting up and maintenance of job folders

•Project managing on design projects with various deliverables, such as corporate events and campaigns

•Helping and supporting the client with establishing clear instructions and design briefs

•Managing client expectations by advising on project timelines, scheduling and deadlines

•Assigning, prioritising and tracking projects with team members and helping to ensure that adequate design time is allocated

•Building strong working relationships with all clients based on professionalism and trust

•Assisting with quality control procedures, including the checking of both digital and print artwork in line with the brief and client brand

•Collating all client feedback and raising any issues or concerns with the Global Creative and Lead Creative•

Key Experience:
 

•A minimum of five years’ workflow coordinating experience is essential

•Experience managing workflow within both digital and print design and working with designers and artworkers at all experience levels

•Experience of working in a corporate culture with time critical projects

•Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

•Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure

•Must be able to work on their own initiative

•Understanding of digital and print design processes

•Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word / Excel / PowerPoint

•Calm, friendly and professional – being approachable and supportive to both clients and the design team is a must

•Knowledge of financial institutional businesses would be an advantage
