Role Summary

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our busy and fast paced department. You must demonstrate excellent organisational skills along with outstanding customer service and have experience of working with IT systems. The post holder will be able to use their own initiative to prioritise daily workload of self and team and to meet the changing needs of the service. This post will be required at times to work in our Medical Imaging office located at Osprey House.

The Medical Imaging Department is an expanding service where admin is an imperative role. It is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we form part of the Devon Diagnostic Centre.

You will have excellent communication skills including discussion and written communication. As well as daily administrative duties, you will understand and manage waiting lists working to meet standard NHS targets. You will be required to learn and use multiple computer systems in order to fulfil your role. To provide excellent customer care which may include communication with distressed and anxious patients and relatives, treating them respect and empathy and to ensure the professional image of the Trust is maintained at all times.

Working Pattern: hours per week. Monday - Friday 9: to :

Interview Date: Thursday th September 4.

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 4-5 rates, inclusive of a pay award implemented from October 4. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 4 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 3-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 3/ | NHS Employers).
