Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and organized Appointment Administrator to join our busy Glaucoma Unit at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. About the Role

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and support, and contribute to the smooth operation of our outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Book and manage patient appointments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Plan and set up outpatient clinics, including preparing patient lists and materials
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information at all times
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives
