We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy Glaucoma Unit as an Appointment Administrator within our growing Ophthalmology service. 

You will form an essential part of the team, ensuring patient appointments are booked accurately and information is updated regularly, planning and setting up outpatient clinics and providing administrative support.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills, to which this post will provide a wealth of opportunities to expand and develop.

This role will be based at Heavitree hospital but there will be opportunities to cover our sister site at Wonford hospital. 

We actively encourage informal chats or departmental visits.

Working Pattern: hours per week, Monday - Friday - hours are negotiable.

Interview Date: th October 4. 

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 4-5 rates, inclusive of a pay award implemented from October 4. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 4 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 3-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 3/ | NHS Employers).
