Excellence in Care (EiC) is the National Care Assurance Programme. In line with the Excellence in Care strategy we are broadening our scope of EiC beyond Nursing and Midwifery, to include other Healthcare Professionals.

This provides an exciting opportunity for an Allied Health Professional to join Healthcare Improvement Scotland’s team.

The post holder will provide leadership, clinical advice, and guidance to territorial boards.

The National team provides guidance and support to EiC Board Clinical leads in all aspect of the implementation of the programme, such as Quality of Care reviews, Leading Excellence in Care Leadership programme as well as the development of quality measures, supporting Board to undertake improvement work.

Currently working in a clinical leadership role, experience in quality improvement and an awareness of EiC programme are all pre-requisites. The post holder will work closely with a network of stakeholders, including public involvement, to support the implementation of EiC in practice and a range of local improvement and assurance work.

Closing date: Sunday 18th August 2024 at midnight

It is anticipated that interviews will be held in early September 2024.
