Role Overview
As a Senior Manager, you will be motivated, collaborative, and determined, working closely with Life Sciences clients to creatively address their most pressing challenges. The emphasis will be on innovation and a hands-on collaborative approach to transforming experiences and outcomes across the value chain, particularly within R&D and Clinical Development.
Responsibilities
Your work will have a significant impact on society, businesses, and individuals, offering a rewarding and varied experience. You will potentially engage in a diverse range of projects, allowing you to gain extensive experience in a short period.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing end-to-end implementation projects of Clinical Solutions for clinical research, Biopharma, and MedTech organizations, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborating with external stakeholders, including Clinical Operations and Clinical Data Management, to gather requirements and define project scopes for technology implementation and business process reengineering initiatives.
- Developing comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies to ensure successful execution.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and partners to facilitate the implementation of Clinical Solutions and identify opportunities for process optimization and reengineering.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying deviations from the plan, and proactively resolving issues to keep projects on track while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Providing insights on the evolution of the clinical development landscape and submissions over the short, medium, and long term.
- Mentoring and managing colleagues as part of the sector team and client engagements.
- Contributing to business development efforts, including writing and delivering client pitches and innovative offerings.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- Experience in leading clinical trial transformations within large pharmaceutical organizations.
- A strong understanding of the technology and data landscape within Clinical Development.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing technology implementation projects, particularly Clinical Solutions such as Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems and Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).
- A clear understanding of clinical data standards and clinical research processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying opportunities for process optimization.
- A passion for exploring the value derived from AI and Gen AI applications.
- Previous experience in a lead role within a CRO or consulting environment is beneficial.
