Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Manager to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management of our hospital ward and its staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide day-to-day management of the hospital ward and its staff, ensuring effective and efficient management of ward resources and driving clinical excellence in all aspects of care received by patients.
  • Clinical Governance: Lead and support the nursing team to meet all aspects of the clinical governance agenda, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Staff Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify areas for quality improvement and implement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care coordination and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing Studies.
  • Experience: Experienced in acute nursing care, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior registered nurse post or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Certifications: Valid NMC Registration and certification in relevant areas of practice.
