**Main responsibilities**:

- You must act as a role model for all staff and ensure that a consistent high standard of nursing care is provided.
- You must ensure that the NMC code of conduct is upheld at all times.
- You must be confident in the administration of medication
- You must be able to maintain accurate, detailed reports and records
- You must monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in Service Users' conditions
- You must ensure that the home’s clinical/care performance meets required fundamental standards
- You must be confident to record Service Users' medical information and vital signs
- You must be able to consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate Service Users car plans to ensure person centred care is given.

- The ability to ensure that residents needs wishes and aspirations are acknowledged and met where possible.
- Excellent communication skills, able to interact with residents, their families, members of staff and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Kind and caring with a real commitment to delivering the highest level of care at all times

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Clinical Lead or in a similar management role.
- Registered Nurse with active NMC nursing pin.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Ability to make critical decisions and problem-solve effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to providing the best care for residents.
- Strong knowledge of care home regulations, compliance, and best practice, including Care Inspectorate standards.

**This position requires a PVG and two references**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
