Are you an experienced administrator looking for a part time position?

Our Business Rates Team are looking for an Administrator to join us on a 12-month FTC, you'll work with the team to process incoming documents from local authorities and the Valuation Office Authority (VOA). You'll work closely with internal teams and keep our system up to date with latest rates and accurate information regarding our advertising sites. The position will offer 22.5 hours per week, with two days working from our Woking office. Days and hours can be discussed as we are willing to be flexible for the right candidate.

You'll also;

  • Process rates bills, refunds, and amendments
  • Liaise with the team to gather information and evidence for sites which have been removed
  • Provide details of removed sites to the VOA to have the sites removed from the rating list
  • Raise CCA’s (check, challenge, appeal) with the VOA for incorrectly rated sites
  • Update information on internal systems to ensure data accuracy
  • Assisting with refund matching and rates payment runs

What we’re looking for;

You'll be an experienced administrator but not necessarily someone who's worked in a business rates team before. You'll be a great problem solver and calm under pressure, confident at communicating with internal and external stake holders and sometimes handling more difficult conversations.

  • You'll be proficient with Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel, Word, Outlook
