To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Regional Digital & Content Executive to join our fun and vibrant marketing team.

 

Reporting to the Regional Digital & Content Manager, the Regional Digital & Content Executive (South) is responsible for working with the local leisure centre teams in their Southern remit to improve their local social media and content strategies, driving awareness of the centres and the offers within them to meet the business objectives to gain new members whilst retaining existing members too. 

 

This hybrid role consists of regular centre visits each and every week, capturing and creating engaging content as well as remote working opportunities. This role be focused on the digital marketing and content creation for our Oxford, Buckinghamshire, Maidstone, Swale, Basingstoke, Jersey and Stoke Mandeville contracts.


As part of this role you will:

  • Work closely with the Head of Digital & Content, Content Marketing Manager and Regional Digital & Content Manager, creating and implementing individual leisure centres digital and content strategies – aligned to the business strategy.
  • Support the onsite social media champions to create innovative locally curated content driving centre awareness.
  • Work with the Contract Managers to support centres with their outreach and community strategies.
  • Work with PR & Internal Communications Manager to identify PR opportunities to show case the activities within the centres.
  • Build relationships with regional/local media, local influencers, and digital community groups.
  • Support leisure centres with weekend events social media coverage

 


What you’ll need to do the role:

  • You will need to have proven experience within a Marketing/PR environment with experience of creating and delivering content marketing plans. 
  • Digital Marketing experience – social media experience is essential with email marketing and paid advertising skills preferable.
  • Marketing experience of working in a B2C environment.
  • Ability to come up with fresh and appealing ideas for content that reinforces the brand and communicates clear commercial messages.
  • The ability to drive and hold a valid and clean UK drivers’ licence is essential as travel between sites will be required every week.
