The Role: Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO)
We are seeking a visionary and experienced leader to join our team as the Chief Digital and Information Officer. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Trust's digital future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction for the implementation of new digital technologies and approaches, including AI, to enhance patient experience, improve operational efficiency, and empower colleagues.
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with the Trust's overall goals.
- Oversee Information Technology (IT), Information System Management, and Information Security, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory guidelines.
- Act as the Senior Information Risk Owner and Caldicott Guardian, safeguarding patient data and upholding privacy standards.
- Drive innovation and adoption of cutting-edge technologies to optimize clinical workflows and improve patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across all Trust sites to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions.
- Engage with the Integrated Care System (ICS) digital leadership team and contribute to regional initiatives.
About You:
You are a highly accomplished digital leader with a proven track record of success in healthcare or a similar complex organization. You possess a deep understanding of emerging technologies, data analytics, and cybersecurity best practices.
You have exceptional communication, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills. Your ability to inspire and motivate teams will be crucial to driving digital transformation across the Trust.
