We are looking for an experienced Senior Level People & Culture Business Partner to partner with senior leads across our organisation. As this role will report into the Director of HR you will be joining our UK People & Culture team and will be responsible for delivering against a people and organisation strategy that:

What you'll be doing:

This role will be responsible for a designated client group, working closely with senior leaders to support the delivery of a proactive people strategy. The Business Partner will apply HR expertise and commercial understanding to partner the Business Unit/Service Line leadership team supporting business changes , cyclical activities and people development .

Client Group Alignment and support. Responsible for a range of actions and activities for a particular client group, supporting the business with the full generalist employee lifecycle. Visibility in locations where the client group is based is key for this role.

Keeps senior management advised of potential problem areas and recommends/implements solutions as appropriate.

Working as a key interface between People & Culture specialist functions and business stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective management of People & Culture annual activities and change programmes. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.

People & Culture Projects – Supporting on adhoc, cyclical or statutory HR projects as per required by Snr P&C BP, including M&A, TUPE projects and organisation restructure to include consultation process management.

Employee Relations. Provides guidance and counsel on employee relations issues, company policies and guidelines. Supporting managers on employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary and capability matters

Performance management. Drives an effective approach to performance development within the business area. Support business leaders with implementation of an effective feedback process to motivate high performers and improve poor performers. Support Learning and Development programs including upskilling people managers, ensures the business understands the tools and technology to perform key P&C functions such as performance reviews, development plans and objective setting.

Reporting. Provides business unit reporting and analysis as needed (workforce planning, absence management, succession planning, performance management, etc.).

Employee Engagement. Champion new initiatives in the areas of employee engagement and culture. Working closely with our Talent & Performance team and Business Partners to assist in communicating and drive action planning and ongoing employee satisfaction programs in your business areas.

Vision & Values. Act as a champion and role model for the NTT DATA UK Vision & Values. Working closely with the Business unit lead/Service Line Head to ensure that people practices are effective in embedding and reinforcing the Company values.

What experience you'll bring:

Generalist background with experience at operating at a senior level with a hands on approach. Able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented, and matrix-structured environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, and trust/credibility with the demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proven ability to diagnose problems and identify and drive appropriate solutions Detail oriented, organized with advanced project and process management skills Strong teaming, collaboration, and relationship skills Intermediate to advanced skills in excel, PowerPoint, and other digital products such as Success Factors platforms Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and practical experience of applying this knowledge in ER cases. Experience of managing TUPE/consultation process across the UK. Ability to champion and drive organisational initiatives within designated client group Ability to find solutions to move things forward in complex and ambiguous situations
